Tasty and flavour full. Portions are plenty and justify the price. If ever you're in the are it's a definite go to for Korean food.

Totally not happy with what went on last night. My husband and I just finished working out and decided to go across the street to Yummy BBQ cuz hubby craved short ribs and I recommended this establishment. He stood infront of counter for a good 5 minutes as they walked back and forth, no acknowledgement, a simple "we'll be with you in a moment" anything to let him know that they would take his order. Walked by the counter atleast 3 times walked to the back and just stayed there. (I at the time was in the car dealing with an email), just as I was about to get out of the car, he is walking back out with NO food. When I asked what was wrong, he just said that they refused to even acknowledge that he was there. No line up, no other customers in this particular food court. (Its always dead). I personally know they speak english as I have been here once before. But now, NEVER AGAIN!

This spot never fails to deliver. They have awesome dishes for fair pricing, there are no long waits even when they are packed.

Can't believe I tracked this place down! I used to go to the Yonge location for take out and now it's in North York. I always go for their spicy beef and spicy chicken!

The husband owner definitely has temper and is one of a kind. His job is to turn customers away and reduce the work for her wife. Good man. One star taken for his rudeness. The lady chef definitely knows how to cook Korean food!

This is the best place by far for Korean food. I've been a fan of Mr. Lee's food for over 20 years. I've had the honour of enjoying this food since they had the restaurant at the Crossways (Dundas West & Bloor). I have never been disappointed. They make food fast but it is not fast food (at great price as well). It's better to have the food in the court (fresher). Please visit this place. Mr. Lee is a hard working gentleman always striving for perfection to please his guests through his food. Mission accomplished. I had the chicken cutlet today. Next time it will be the stir fry!

One of the best koran bbq you can ever find. Their quantity and price ratio is excellent and their side dishes are the best i could find in toronto.

One of THE best places in the city. I love the food and had to hunt them down after they closed on Yonge. So thankful they're still open. The price is fantastic and the quality of the food is always top tier. Anything you order from here is delicious.

Great tasting Asian food!

Stumbled upon this place while checking out the plaza and decided to come back for lunch the next day on a Wednesday.Generous portions and reasonably priced. Ordered the lunch special with stir fried chicken and it was only $6.75 and had me stuffed. Food was quite tasty and hit my Korean food craving. I also ordered the BBQ ribs lunch special for $10 and it was delicious! They gave a very generous portion of ribs and they were super tender and didnt have fatty chunks. Would definitely come back to try other menu items and recommend if you're looking for good bang for your buck.

Can’t say enough about this place! Our favourite Korean spot. Will follow them wherever they move to.

Tried their soup and beef/chicken bbq with rice for first time using delivery. Great flavour, good portions and very reasonable price! Highly recommend!!!

This has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a college student back in the 90’s. My boyfriend (now husband) and I often had dinner at Yummy BBQ. Our favorite dishes were spicy bbq pork and egg battered fish jeon. So yummy!!! We moved to a different province more than 10 years ago but we still visit the place whenever we come to Toronto. Person who answers the phone for order needs to learn how to answer courteously to customers.

So good. Large portions and added side dishes with kind service. The tofu, regular and radish kimchis went so well with the bulgogi and the rice. The owners offered me tea while I was waiting for my food. Definitely worth visiting. 진짜 친절한 분위기 여기! 100% 추천!

Honestly one of my favorite things to eat. I ve never been to the location but I order under eata for lunch like once a month from here. I get the BBQ Pork lunch EXTRA Spicy and I always am happy with my order. Thank you so much.......DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING

Great place to eat korean bbq!

This place has superb service and delicious meals. One of my favourite restaurants ever. The food arrived quickly and the rates are affordable. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Great food, and lots of it, when you consider the side dishes included. I ordered pork stirfry w/rice and steamed dumplings w/rice, and also received Kimchee and fried tofu in sauce. All very good.

I meet with friends this nice place quite often! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I go there at least once a month. The food is excellent, the crew is helpful and the prices are good. I enjoy meeting in this spot to have a rich meal.

One of the best Pork Bone soups I've had in the city. Asked for spicy and it was perfect.

I ordered from them because the usual place i order from was closed. Was not expecting much but now i have already ordered from them like 5 times. Cant wait for things to go back ot normal and visit the place and enjoy the dine in. Damn the bbq is super delicious, specially their bbq pork. Plus their price is cheaper and quantity is big too.

Food is delicious! If you go at lunch they have lunch specials and portions are huge!! Food is tasty and def worth it if you're craving some korean bbq!!

Finally found you after 2 years! Been going to Yummy since 2005 in Mississauga. Then Bathurst & Bloor...then Yonge & Wellesley. We thought we had our last meal there 2 years ago. Same amazing duo, still killing it! Best part was they remembered us and remembered our order! Can't beat that! Glad you're back in our lives. Be kind and stay safe everyone!

I came here few month ago and found out the place is depressing and the owner was rude. So I walked away and got something else. I came back today and found the place to be unfriendly as last time. However for some reason I decided to try their food. It was bit salty, but I didn't mind.I would have given 3/5 stars. But wondered if I would return here if I was in this plaza again. The answer was "yes, I will be back". So I give 4/5 rating. Lack of communication with the owner, quality of food and price all into consideration. The serving portion was quite large, next time I would ask for bit less.. i couldn't finish and dont like to waste food. It was quite an authentic Korean food. Price was ridiculously cheap.I think I can overlook at the owner's lack of business attitude and focus on price & food quality. All the food in the picture is $10 all day price.

Worse customer service - So rude - I wanted to order and I showed him the picture posted on reviews of his food he didn't know his own made food, saying choose "what ever plate as is it - we have 30 minutes waiting - Im so busy so if you don't know come later o next time - acting aggressive, he might probably hate his job the way that he treated me. Owner ^^ he has some character. Definitely not nice but this owner and wife had a Korean restaurant in downtown for decades and now opened up in North York. I am happy for it. I can have a good Korean food. We have Galleria supermarket near by. But still this place serve better Korean food for sure. Lunch deal is so cheep. No complaint even owner is not nice..lol.

The food was great and portions were hugeeee. I love it!!!!! Edit: 6/11/20 The old guy on the phone was rude. I asked if it is possible to substitute rice with bean sprouts. He replied with, "Don't eat Korean food. Find somewhere else. Korean food always comes with rice."It is better if you order through third party delivery so you don't have to deal with the dude.

This place simply knows how to treat their clients. Consistently with a kind approach. The food is affordably priced, constantly delicious and neat.

BEST Korean food in town!!!! The food is always good and consistent. I’ve tried all of their barbecue meat dishes. Always on point. Seafood spicy rice cake is really good too. What’s Korean food without side dishes?? The tofu and macaroni salad are really good! I will be visiting very often!

We met with friends at this place for lunch. we heard about this place from many people. Well, we were not disappointed. the staff members were so friendly and we felt good. The food was just great. We loved this spot a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Easily 10/10. The owner gives you green tea while you wait. I ordered the short ribs lunch special and it came with tofu, kimchi and white rice. The Short Ribs are spicy and sweet. They aren't overcooked or riddled with fatty bits. Not too saucy. In my opinion this might be the best short ribs you've ever had.After you finish it all, you have the kimchi which is perfect for the burn from the short ribs.The value is incredible, and the food is even better. Definitely a hidden gem.

Great food, excellent rice & meat portion. Flavours are not overpowering despite the red look of the food. The smoky charcoal flavour of BBQ is in all of the meats without being burnt. Katsus are light and don't feel oily with a well made piece of pork wrapped inside. The sauces taste home made. Banchans that come with the takeout are fantastic.You definitely do not come here for the service, as the owner told me that i was ordering too much! Just be mentally prepared when you visit. For a food court place with quality food at fair prices, can't really complain.

I’ve been going to Yummy BBQ since I was a little girl with my mom. We’ve always come back because the food is amazing! Yes, the owner can come off as being rude but I feel it comes with him and his wife literally working everyday for the past 20 years since I’ve been going there. For the price you pay, quality and quantity you really can’t find anywhere elsewhere in the city. Highly recommend you try the Yummy Special it includes three of the most popular meat Kalbi (short rib), Bulgogi (Beef) and Chicken. It comes with rice, 2 pieces of Mandu (Korean dumpling) and egg battered zucchini as well as two - three side dishes (Kimchi, Tofu, etc). If you’re super hungry you might be able to eat it on your own but me and my husband will often split one and it’s more than enoghZ
